Ferris Gordon Jennings〔In the 1930 U.S. Census record, Jennings is listed as Gordon F. Jennings. Subsequent records identify him as Ferris G. Jennings. The 1938 Calendar of the University of Michigan identifies him as Ferris Gordon Jennings.〕 (November 10, 1913 – December 22, 1995) was an American football, baseball and basketball player. He played college football at the quarterback and safety positions for the University of Michigan in 1934 and 1936. He was the starting quarterback for the 1934 Michigan Wolverines football team. Jennings also played for the Michigan Wolverines men's basketball and Michigan Wolverines baseball teams between 1935 and 1937. ==Early years== Jennings was born in Michigan in 1913.
